Principal

Brian has twenty-eight years of experience working in land development across multiple specialty areas, including landscape design and contracting, residential and commercial real estate, and civil engineering consulting.  He has led land development practices for two Engineering News Record Top 100 firms, working throughout the greater mid-Atlantic region and managing annual revenues in excess of $7MM.  For the last fifteen years, Brian’s work responsibilities have exclusively been on the management and administration side of the business.  He has been solely responsible for quality assurance of work product produced by civil engineers, structural engineers, landscape architects, and environmental scientists.  Brian has successfully expanded the land development portfolios for two major firms and introduced them to the K12, higher education, civic building, and federal markets, resulting in $45MM in new work with the Veterans Administration across two contracts.  Brian has managed operating costs, established annual budgets, maintained appropriate staff levels, provided training, and managed accounts receivables with great success.  Brian manages Site Studios’ operations division, including business development and marketing, finance, quality control, and human resources.

Jonathan M. Sabatino, PE
Principal

Jon has ten years of experience working in land development, with six years in a project management role. He has provided civil engineering services for public, private, and federal contracts spanning a variety of market sectors across thirteen states. His project portfolio is highly diverse, ranging from small, quick turn-around tasks to multi-disciplined on-call contracts lasting many years. Over the past six years, Jon has led several teams of designers and engineers by providing technical guidance, quality management, and general oversight. His design experience includes site grading, horizontal and vertical utility layout, road and entrance design, subdivision planning, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, and general site permitting. Jon has chosen to pair his passion for the natural world with his civil engineering expertise to promote and protect water quality throughout the greater mid-Atlantic region. He provides unique, code compliant solutions for stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and MS4 and TMDL requirements. Jon manages Site Studios’ production division, including technical content, project design, details and specifications, workflow, project schedule, software, and deliverables.

Justin Ohara, E.I.T.
Design Engineer

Justin is a Design Engineer with Site Studios. With seven years of experience working in land development design roles, Justin has extensive experience working in multiple states, with particular focus throughout Maryland and Delaware. Justin’s work spans a variety of project types across the public and private sector markets. His experience includes stormwater management design, site grading, utility layout, roadway, and entrance design.

Eric Garvey
Design Engineer

Eric is a May 2023 graduate of the University of Maryland College Park Civil Engineering program. Eric graduated with honors and was a member of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program. Eric worked as an Engineering Intern during the 2021 and 2022 summer and winter breaks and he used that time to gain practical land development experience.
